Senior Design Engineer(FABRICATION)

Senior Engineer Design (Fabrication) leads the design, development, and planning of products, focusing on making them manufacturable through processes like cutting, forming, and welding metal, mentoring junior engineers, managing projects (schedule/budget), ensuring quality, and using advanced CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed designs and prototypes for various industries. Core Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Oversee entire design processes, developing innovative solutions from concept to prototype.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Ensure designs are practical and efficient to fabricate using techniques like welding, bending, and cutting.
• Project Management: Plan, schedule, and execute design projects, managing scope, budget, and timelines.
• Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior design engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of materials, design theories, and equipment to solve complex problems.
• Documentation: Create and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Software: Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Fabrication Knowledge: Strong understanding of metal properties, fabrication techniques (sheet metal, welding, bending, forming,).
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and attention to detail.
• Education: Often a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Design/Engineering.

Career PathThis role is a senior progression, typically after becoming a mid-level engineer, leading to potential management roles like Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
