Your future role

The SAP Customer Success Manager organization is focused on creating an

industry-leading digital customer engagement experience

for our customers, with on-demand access to self-service, guidance, and experts from SAP (CSMs) after they have purchased an SAP solution.
Our goal is to optimize the time of Digital Customer Success Managers (D-CSMs) for high-value customer interactions by balancing one-on-one engagements with one-to-many initiatives, effective territory management, and a strong focus on Value Realization led by

Solution Area Leads

. This involves delivering content in a more automated and efficient manner.
With the strong focus on Business Technology Platform in the context of SAPs Business Suite Strategy, we are seeking a

Solution Area Lead specializing in Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Business Data Cloud (BDC).

Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Regional territory management
  • Regional stakeholder network

  • Voice of the customer

What youll do:

In your role as Solution Area Lead your focus is on Adoption & Consumption.
You are contributing to the team s success by managing the solution area as a territory, keeping the D-CSM Regional Leader and Leadership in region (eventually MU stakeholders) informed about the state of the scale business through QBRs, and by supporting churn mitigation.
You are actively contributing to further increase scale with strong focus on leveraging existing assets and a 1:many approach.
You work with the D-CSMs to provide guidance on how they can enable their customers for self-service and connect them to the right resources across the product portfolio, helping them understand what Power Your Success Services are already included in the subscription.

What you"ll bring:

Industry and Business Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of business models, strategies, and processes within BTP solution portfolio
  • Buying center/Lines of Business domain expertise.
  • Experience driving renewals, expansion, and upsells of license subscription and/or enterprise agreements

Technical and Solution Knowledge

  • 5+ years of experience with the BTP solution portfolio.
  • Experience with cloud software solutions and delivery models, including SaaS and PaaS processes.

Relationship and Communication Skills:

  • Strong relationship-building abilities, with a relationship-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills; fluent English is required for customer interactions across APAC.

Problem Solving and Risk Management:

  • Proven ability to handle difficult situations and discuss complex issues with key stakeholders and customer executives.
  • Ability to apply risk-mitigation strategies to customer situations.
  • Expertise in anticipating challenges and developing solutions

Project Management and Organizational Skills:

  • Strong program/project management and governance skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks across functions.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing 1:Many formats to drive regional scale initiatives.

Experience & Motivation:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in Project/Product Management, Pre-sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or Consulting.
  • Motivation and flexibility to work in a high-growth organization, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-changing environment
