Who You Are

The Senior SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and high-performing SQL databases and applications. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, security, and integrity of database systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

You will have:

• At least 8 years of experience in SQL development
• Proven experience in working with MS SQL Server
• Expertise in writing & optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases, including schema design, table structures, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for performance, efficiency, and data retrieval.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across multiple database environments.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning strategies.
• Collaborate with Architects, Business analysts and other developers to understand data requirements and implement appropriate database solutions.
• Review database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions and strategies.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce database standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to developers and support team.
• Stay updated with new database technologies and trends and recommend improvements.
