Senior Database Developer

Role Overview: You are being offered the position of Senior Database Developer, Vice President in the Cross Product Technology domain within the Fixed Income and Currencies Technology Organization in Pune, India. Your role will involve database development activities and coordination with java developers and testing to address business challenges. The CPT domain includes various existing systems and green-field projects. As a passionate and hands-on technologist, you are expected to have a good track record in successful business delivery and exposure to a wide range of technologies. Your responsibilities will encompass changes in the collateral domain and collaboration with development teams, clients, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures and work on applications with RDBMS frameworks. - Create functional and end-to-end database touchpoints for projects. - Plan and estimate efforts, contribute to end-to-end delivery, including requirements analysis, design discussions, test execution, and result reporting. - Work independently with minimal guidance, provide technical guidance to junior team members, contribute to new business requirements analysis, continuous improvement, and successful integration points delivery. - Participate in investigating and resolving production issues. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in DB technologies and complex stored procedure creations. - Strong understanding of SQL and experience in writing complex queries. - Experience in testing and automating systems with large data volumes. - Familiarity with Java/Oracle platforms handling large data volumes, knowledge of Java is advantageous. - Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory, microservices architecture, Agile/DevOps environment. - Strong analytical and database design skills, proficient communication skills, experience with reference data, collateral, margin data platforms, and Google Cloud. - Exposure to collateral management space is beneficial, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivery.
