Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and development , along with a solid background in data migration . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our SQL Server databases, as well as participating in the planning and development of the database architecture. This role also includes responsibility for data migration initiatives and supporting business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases (2016 and above). Design and implement high-availability solutions including replication, clustering, and Always On Availability Groups. Perform database development including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and performance tuning. Lead and execute data migration strategies across heterogeneous systems (on-premise and cloud). Conduct regular database performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization. Ensure database security, integrity, and backup/recovery processes. Collaborate with development teams to provide database support for application development and deployments. Document database architecture, procedures, and standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in database administration and development with Microsoft SQL Server. Strong T-SQL skills and experience in performance tuning and query optimization. Proven experience with data migration projects, including ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS). Solid understanding of database backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations. Experience with monitoring and performance tools such as SQL Profiler, Database Tuning Advisor, or third-party tools. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
