Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview: You will be a Senior Data Scientist specializing in handling massive tabular data on Large Language Models (LLMs) for Mobilewalla, a global consumer data and technology company. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise to extract insights, build predictive models, and drive data-driven decisions, particularly for the Telco Vertical product. Collaborating closely with engineers, you will contribute to the development of large-scale systems to process data in real-time and offline. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze massive volumes of tabular data efficiently. - Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms for tabular data analysis. - Develop and deploy predictive models using LLMs to forecast trends and optimize business outcomes. - Lead data handling, pre-processing, and transformation for quality and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate data-driven solutions and drive actionable insights. - Work with product managers to identify market trends and translate them into data science projects. - Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders. - Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior data scientists and team members. Qualifications: - Educational Background: Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. - Large Language Models (LLMs): Extensive experience with models like GPT for processing tabular data. - Programming Proficiency: Strong skills in Python or R, with expertise in PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch. - Experience: 4-5 years in data science with focus on Telco competitive intelligence products. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or R, experience with relevant ML libraries and data manipulation tools. - Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Telecommunications industry trends, challenges, and technologies. - Preferred Qualification: Experience with Location Intelligence, geospatial analytics, and GIS tools. - Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to present technical findings clearly.
