Job Responsibilities: The Product Manager will support the development and management of innovative location intelligence and GIS products. This role involves understanding customer needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Assist in defining product requirements based on customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure product features align with user needs and business goals. Support the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor products in the location intelligence/GIS space. Provide insights to guide product enhancements, market positioning, and feature prioritization. Engage with customers to gather feedback on product features, usability, and performance. Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and support, to ensure product alignment with customer expectations. Analyze product metrics and user data to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate product insights, milestones, and metrics to senior management. Work with senior product leaders to develop product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on strategic goals and market opportunities. Assist in defining product vision and strategy to position the company offerings competitively in the location intelligence market. Coordinate product-related tasks and milestones, working with teams to meet deadlines and achieve project goals. Maintain documentation for product processes, feature specifications, and release notes. Qualifications & Experience: Education: MBA from a recognized tier-2 institute. Experience: 4-10 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or project management (tech or GIS is a plus). Required skills: Strong data analysis skills, with experience in using tools like Excel, Google Analytics, or similar for reporting and insights. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas effectively across teams and to stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently within deadlines. Basic understanding of GIS, geospatial data, or mapping technologies is advantageous but not required. Quick learner with a proactive approach, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Preferred skills : Past GIS experience.
