Senior Data Quality Specialist

The Team: S&P Global Enterprise Data Organization Content Customer Success and Data Quality Team (Corporate Profiles) is part of Data Excellence & Partnership group. The team is involved in responding to data client queries and acts as an external data quality team with primary focus on improving data quality for all data sets.

You will be responsible for understanding client requirements and providing them with the best solution. You will be working closely with product management, client support, data management, data stewardship and data operations to provide superior customer experience. You will need to ensure highest quality of data for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to perform accuracy check on various data points collected by data collection teams.
• Analyze error trends and root causes of opportunity areas
• Identify procedural gaps, and data inconsistencies, and work with content team to improve them.
• Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the dataset
• Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the team
• Actively track the client data usage and errors to drive the focus of the sampling team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Data Analyst and above can apply for this position.
• Individual having minimum 3 years of experience in data collection & standardization
• Should have exposure working on some department level projects and clearly define the deliverables
• Good understanding of CIQ, CIQPro platforms & Excel Plugins
• Basic level of understanding and executing SQL Queries

Preferred Qualifications

• Individuals having experience in Corporate Profiles will be an added benefit.
• Hands on experience in developing and executing SQL Queries
• Lean/six sigma certification is a plus to have
• Good understanding of CIQ, CIQPro platforms & Excel Plugins
• Exposure to Spark, Python, GenAI tools will be an added advantage.
