Role:
We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in marketing analytics, data modeling, and pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Marketing Platform (GMP) products, deep understanding of conversion and attribution data, and proven ability to design and implement scalable data architectures supporting marketing dashboards and analytics use cases in the airline/travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer for both batch and streaming data ingestion.
Build and maintain data models to support marketing, campaign performance, and user journey analytics.
Integrate data from Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), Display & Video 360 (DV360), Search Ads 360, Google Analytics 4.
Develop and operationalize ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data quality, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with marketing, data science, and analytics teams to design and support marketing dashboards in Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, or Power BI.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of data workflows.
Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Support identity resolution and conversion attribution modeling to improve marketing ROI and customer insights.
Work with Vertex AI and Python to operationalize machine learning models where applicable.
Define and maintain best practices for marketing data architecture, including governance, metadata, and lineage.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Storage, Firebase
Expertise in marketing and advertising data sources: Google Ads, CM360, DV360, SA360, GA4, Firebase.
Solid understanding of marketing data concepts conversions, attribution, user journey tracking, and ID resolution.
Experience in data modeling and pipeline development (batch & streaming).
Hands-on experience in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis.
Familiarity with BI dashboards (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Data Studio).
Knowledge of Vertex AI for integrating ML components within data workflows.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Airline or travel industry experience preferred.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
GCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer, Cloud Architect) is a plus.
