Senior Data Engineer - Immediate Joiner

Job Summary

A Sr Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data collection, transformation, and analysis. They work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for performance. Key responsibilities include developing ETL processes, managing data warehouses and lakes, ensuring data quality, and implementing best practices for data governance and security. 

• Overall having experience between 6 to 10 years of experience in IT and minimum 3+ years’ experience in cloud. 

• Hands-on in Architecture, Design, Delivery of all aspects of Data Engineering area. 

• Hands-on experience in implementing data engineering projects. 

• Strong knowledge in Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark / Azure Data factory. 

• Strong knowledge and experience on SQL Statements and Queries 

• Experience in delivering complex ETL projects. 

• Extensive database experience with a good knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing Concepts. 

• Hands-on coding experience in various Azure Services 

• Should have knowledge of Store Procedures, Functions, queries.

• Strong working experience in ingesting data from various data sources and data types 

• Should have development, testing and deployment knowledge, best practices and coding standards. 

• Should have strong knowledge on performance optimization in ADF, ADB, SQL. 

• Should have strong knowledge of Data Warehouse, SQL, Data Modelling 

• Knowledge of Medallion architecture and metadata driven architecture is a must.

• Knowledge on DevOps, Jira and Confluence is added advantage.

• Should be comfortable working with Team and as IC.
