Job Description

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python development and MySQL, along with hands-on experience in Big Data technologies, PySpark, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across teams.

Requirements:

7 to 12 years of overall experience in data engineering or related domains.
Proven ability to work independently on analytics engines like Big Data and PySpark.
Strong hands-on experience in Python programming, with a focus on data handling and backend services.
Proficiency in MySQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries; knowledge of Redis is a plus.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK, Loki, and Prometheus.
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Helm.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work in agile and cross-functional environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Big Data and PySpark for ETL/ELT processes.
Build scalable and efficient data solutions across cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) using modern tools and technologies
Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code in Python for data engineering tasks.
Develop and optimize complex queries using MySQL and work with caching systems like Redis.
Implement monitoring and logging using Grafana, ELK, Loki, and Prometheus to ensure system reliability and performance.
Use Terraform and Helm for infrastructure provisioning and automation (Infrastructure as Code).
Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and analytics to deliver impactful data solutions.
Contribute to system architecture decisions and influence best practices in cloud data infrastructure.
