Job Title: Data Engineer

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Data Platform / Analytics DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and automated data engineering platforms. The role focuses on Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD automation, and operational excellence across dbt, Snowflake, Azure Cloud, Apache Airflow, and Power BI. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to enable reliable and high-performing data workflows.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Power BI environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps for data workflows, deployments, and testing.
  • Design and implement Snowflake RBAC and security models, aligned with Retail domain best practices.
  • Support and optimize dbt models, deployments, and environments.
  • Manage and monitor Apache Airflow pipelines for reliability and performance.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive issue detection.
  • Optimize system performance for availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to align DevOps practices with analytics needs.
  • Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, processes, and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with ( dbt, Snowflake, and Azure Cloud.)
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Bash scripting.
  • Strong experience with Terraform for data platform automation.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Power BI deployment and governance.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact tables, dimension tables).
  • Experience designing secure, scalable RBAC strategies in Snowflake.
  • Strong troubleshooting, optimization, and documentation skills.
Good to Have
  • Retail domain experience.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and alerting frameworks.
  • Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning in cloud data platforms.
