We are specifically targeting candidates with a 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.

𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒎 𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔:

🔸 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

🔸 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 5+ years of 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 experience.

🔸 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞: Proven experience in Heavy Fabrication, Machining, or the Automotive industry.

🔸 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞: Proficiency with 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐀𝐂𝐄) tools and 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥.

🔸 Hands-on mechanical aptitude and the ability to 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐆𝐃&𝐓 and 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

🔸 Experience with 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 software.

🔸 Strong understanding of manufacturing sequence of events and 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐁𝐎𝐌).

🔸 Global market and supply chain experience.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒍𝒍 𝑫𝒐 𝑫𝒂𝒚-𝒕𝒐-𝑫𝒂𝒚:

▪️ 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝-𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠: Build comprehensive models for new and existing parts, specifically focusing on heavy fabrication and welding processes.

▪️ 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Evaluate bid packages by simulating manufacturing sequences to create accurate target costs.

▪️ 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠: Develop sourcing package requirements and evaluate global bid results.

▪️ 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: Use data modeling and linear progression price analysis to partner with sourcing teams in supplier negotiations.

▪️ 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Act as a consultant to Product Development Engineers to suggest economic design alternatives and trade-offs.
