Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Correspondent to join our editorial team. As a Senior Correspondent specializing in automotive journalism, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of cars, covering a wide range of topics including new vehicle launches, industry events, technological advancements, and consumer trends.

Responsibilities:

Research, write, and edit compelling news articles, features, and reviews on various aspects of the automotive industry.
Conduct interviews with industry experts, automotive executives, and enthusiasts to gather insights and quotes for articles.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the automotive world.
Collaborate with editors and fellow journalists to brainstorm ideas, develop story angles, and ensure accuracy and quality of content.
Attend automotive events, press conferences, and product launches as needed, providing on-the-ground coverage and analysis.
Engage with our audience through social media platforms, responding to comments, sharing content, and fostering community interaction.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
Strong passion for automobiles and a keen interest in automotive journalism.
Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in conducting interviews, researching topics, and synthesizing information.
Familiarity with AP style and basic SEO principles.
Previous experience in journalism, blogging, or content creation is a plus, but not required.
