Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Copyeditor, based in Chennai, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Copyeditor will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and editing content for grammar, style, and consistency. Day-to-day tasks include comprehensive proofreading, text editing, and ensuring accuracy and clarity in all editorial activities. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to finalize high-quality content tailored to clients' requirements while adhering to tight timelines and established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Grammar, Proofreading, and Text Editing
• Strong skills in Editorial processes and Writing
• Attention to detail and the ability to ensure content accuracy and consistency
• Effective organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with publishing tools and workflows, including XML-based processes, is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Previous experience in copyediting or a similar role, preferably within the publishing industry
