Job Description

As a Senior Contracts Manager within the Legal Division, your primary responsibility will be to manage contracts for major EPC, marine, and offshore projects from start to finish. You will ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled while minimizing business risks. Your role will involve handling pre- and post-contract activities, offering expert advice on contractual and commercial matters, and leading the negotiation, drafting, administration, and closure of complex contracts. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the entire contract lifecycle for large EPC, marine, and offshore projects. - Draft, negotiate, and oversee client and subcontractor agreements. - Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks. - Provide legal and contractual advice to project teams. - Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE regulations. - Drive continuous improvement in contract management systems and practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, or Business Administration (Master's or certifications like CIPS, RICS, CPSM preferred). - 8-15 years of experience in EPC, construction, marine, or offshore fabrication industries. - Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and international EPC frameworks. - Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. - Fluency in English with proficiency in contract administration and documentation. Please note that the role is based in Chennai (Perungudi) and you will report to the Legal Director.
