Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Content Writer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a versatile wordsmith with a proven track record of creating compelling content across various digital and print platforms. This role requires not only exceptional writing skills but also the ability to lead and mentor a small team of content writers and creators, ensuring all content aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Strategy:

  • Develop and write high-quality, engaging content for our website, including landing pages, blog posts, and service/product descriptions.
  • Craft compelling copy for marketing materials such as brochures and flyers.
  • Create persuasive and effective copy for email marketing campaigns and WhatsApp broadcasts.
  • Lead the content team in developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy across all channels.
  • Team Leadership & Content Review:

  • Manage and mentor a small team of content creators, including a

    Content Writer

    and a

    Social Media Executive

    , providing them with guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Oversee the social media calendar and guide the Social Media Executive in creating

    scripts for Instagram Reels and posts

    , and other social media copy.
  • Review, edit, and proofread all content produced by both the internal team and our

    external content agency

    to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in our brand voice and tone.
  • Provide constructive feedback and direction to team members to help them improve their skills.
  • External Agency Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our external content agency.
  • Brief the agency on content requirements and objectives.
  • Manage the workflow and project timelines with the agency, ensuring their deliverables meet our standards and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or in a similar role.
  • Experience in leading and managing a small team of content creators (Good to have, but not mandatory)
  • Proven ability to write for various platforms and adapt writing style to suit different channels (e.g., website, social media, print).
  • Experience in

    writing scripts for video content

    and strong understanding of

    SEO principles

    and how to apply them to content creation.
