- Consulting India works with drug commercialization teams at top pharma and biotech companies to understand their complex business needs and help them make informed decisions
- The team creates strategic narratives for senior management teams of blockbuster drugs by designing and executing custom market research studies, conceiving new data analysis methods, and drawing insights from complex datasets
What does your day look like as a Senior Consultant
- Senior Consultants play the role of the project leads within the Consulting team, and are expected to:
- Collaborate efficiently with the US team/counterparts to gain an in-depth understanding of client needs and problems.
- Develop detailed project plans and own tracking against it.
- Facilitate smooth flow of information and knowledge transfer between the various stakeholders involved in the end-to-end project process.
- Review project data and analytical insights to draft powerful stories.
- Debottleneck and smoothen out project operations by intervening at key inflection points.
- On a day-to-day basis, you are involved in the following activities:
- Tracking daily activities against the project plan
- Translate US team/client requirements into actionable plans for their project delivery teams and clarify challenges and expectations when required
- Prepare and review meeting content
- Participate in client discussions by asking clarifying questions as well as answering a few questions directly or leading some sections of the presentation or content
- Building functional capability, improving efficiency and process adherence within their team / Delivery unit
- Removing and reducing bottlenecks to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of projects
- Mentor and coach the team members on elements they need to improve on
- Participate and contribute to internal initiatives that will benefit the BA community and its capability
- You are expected to build specialized knowledge on the primary market research instruments, healthcare industry, and therapeutic areas that are relevant to ZoomRxs clients
- At any given time, you are expected to work on ~5-7 average-sized projects where 3-4 could be unstructured and high-touch while the remaining could be more structured and standardized.
Required Skills/Expertise:
- A degree in life-sciences related/or a quantitative discipline (engineering, economics, business, statistics, mathematics).
- 5 to 7 years of work experience in market research, business analytics, or consulting domain.
- Confidence in preparing and delivering analytically robust, data-driven strategic stories
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering analytically robust, data-driven strategic stories.
- Experience leading project teams.
Preferred Skills/Expertise:
- Experience in additional healthcare market intelligence functions besides primary market research (competitive intelligence; sales analytics; forecasting; etc.)
- Experience in qualitative market research
- Experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare industries
