Senior Consultant

As a Senior .Net Developer at RSM, you will work in the Center for Advanced Tax Technology (CATT), a dynamic and collaborative team focused on enhancing RSM's ability to deliver comprehensive tax products and services to clients. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom software to drive long-term scalability and sustainability for a competitive advantage. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams, troubleshooting and fixing defects in existing software, and providing technical guidance throughout the software delivery lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business needs and requirements. - Create technical designs and reference documentation for implementation. - Produce clean, secure, efficient, and well-documented code. - Lead application integrations using APIs, REST services, etc. - Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. - Conduct code reviews to identify improvement opportunities. - Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and monitor sprint burndown charts to ensure quality and velocity over time. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or Accounting preferred. - Certified AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions or equivalent experience. - Minimum 7 years of experience leading software delivery teams and developing solutions. - Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using .NetCore platforms in Azure Cloud. - Proficiency in front-end development using React + TypeScript stack. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Self-disciplined to work in a virtual, agile, globally sourced team. - Prior experience in public accounting or professional services preferred.
