Senior Consultant - Legal

As a Legal Advisor at WSP, your role will involve working independently as well as collaboratively within the legal team. You will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, reviewing and negotiating various agreements, and providing legal advice to support effective contract management. Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing and negotiating consultancy agreements, collateral warranties, bid and performance bonds, guarantees, novations, reliance letters, non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, and sub-consultancy agreements with minimal supervision. - Supporting senior team members with the review of complex documents like joint venture agreements, teaming agreements, and framework contracts. - Liaising with internal teams, project directors, and other support functions to explain legal concepts clearly and articulately. - Managing the contract review process efficiently to minimize impact on working capital. - Advising on contract and construction law, ensuring corporate governance in contract reviews, and undertaking DocuSign signing processes. - Providing guidance on tender documents, identifying and addressing risks, and ensuring consistency with insurance coverage. - Supporting the business in the contract delivery phase to facilitate effective contract management.
