Job Description

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler to support transactional, operational, and analytical systems
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate requirements into robust, scalable data structures
Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards, naming conventions, and governance policies
Architect and deploy data models on Microsoft Azure services (eg, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake)
Optimize models for cloud-native performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Integrate models with ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory or Databricks
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, including lineage, metadata, and transformation rules
Implement data governance frameworks to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance
Leverage certifications (eg, Erwin Certified Professional, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate) to enforce industry best practices
Stay current with emerging trends in cloud data architecture and modeling tools
Mentor junior modelers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
Partner with DevOps teams to automate model deployment and version control
