Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Architect and build data pipelines and transformations using Azure Databricks.
Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest and process large volumes of data efficiently.
Work with Delta Lake to manage structured and unstructured data in a data lake environment.
Use Python and SQL for data wrangling, cleaning, and analytics.
Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
Apply data modeling and data warehousing techniques to optimize data structure and performance.
Integrate DevOps practices, including version control and CI/CD pipelines, to enhance deployment automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve data processing and performance issues.
Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are met across projects.
Document workflows, processes, and architectural decisions clearly for team alignment and knowledge sharing.

Skills Required:

Must-Have:

Strong experience with Azure Databricks and related Azure data services
Proficiency in ETL/ELT design and implementation
Hands-on coding with Python and SQL for data engineering
Understanding of data lake architectures and Delta Lake

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with Apache Spark
Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices
