Job Description

Production planning and scheduling: Collaborate with production teams to create detailed production schedules for precast concrete components based on project requirements and delivery deadlines. Allocate tasks to yard crew, including crane operators, ground crew, and detailers, based on workload and skillset. Quality control: Conduct regular quality checks on precast concrete components to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Monitor curing processes and identify any potential quality issues. Address quality concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary. Yard operations management: Optimize yard space by effectively storing and organizing precast concrete components. Manage the movement of precast components within the yard using cranes and other lifting equipment. Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks to ensure efficient delivery schedules. Safety compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols within the yard to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety training sessions for yard crew. Monitor work areas for potential hazards and address safety concerns promptly. Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of all precast concrete components in the yard. Track inventory levels and identify potential stock shortages. Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory. Staff supervision: Lead and motivate the yard crew to achieve production goals and maintain high standards. Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide performance feedback to yard personnel. Address employee concerns and resolve any issues promptly. Maintenance and repairs: Oversee routine maintenance of yard equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and lifting gear. Coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance with relevant service providers.
