Job Description

The Senior Commercial Property Agent will be responsible for identifying suitable tenants, connecting them with commercial building owners, and facilitating smooth leasing transactions. The agent will act as a bridge between both parties, ensuring the right match, transparent communication, and successful deal closures.


Tenant Identification & Requirement Analysis

  • Identify potential tenants such as SMEs, startups, retailers, and corporates.
  • Understand their space requirements: budget, carpet area, location preference, layout, timeline, and amenities.
  • Qualify leads to ensure they match available property listings.

Property Sourcing & Owner Coordination

  • Build strong relationships with landlords, commercial building owners, and developers.
  • Maintain updated listings of office spaces, retail units, warehouses, and other commercial properties.
  • Collect complete property details: rent, maintenance, terms, availability, and features.

Agent Facilitation & Matchmaking

  • Shortlist properties based on tenant requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate site visits efficiently with owners and tenants.
  • Clearly communicate expectations, terms, and property benefits to both sides.
  • Assist in negotiation on rentals, lock-in period, security deposit, and agreement terms.

Documentation & Closure

  • Support in preparing rental comparisons, proposals, and property briefs.
  • Guide both parties through documentation (LOI, rental agreement, KYC).
  • Ensure deal closure within timelines and maintain transparency throughout.

Market Intelligence & Networking

  • Track commercial real estate trends, rental values, and demand patterns.
  • Build and strengthen a network with property owners and business communities.
  • Maintain a structured database of available properties and active tenant leads.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–10 years experience as a

    Commercial Property Agent

    (leasing preferred).
  • Strong local network with landlords and commercial building owners.
  • Excellent negotiation and people-handling skills.
  • Good understanding of leasing terms, legal documentation, and market pricing.
  • Strong communication skills with professional presentation ability.
