The Cloud Engineering team at FTT organization is responsible for offering Public Cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) to enable Franklin Templeton developers to accelerate time-to-market, drive innovation, and simplify integrations. We prioritize a high-quality engineering culture to design platforms with a customer-centric approach, scalability for large enterprises, and resilience to support market innovation. Key Responsibilities of a Senior Engineer include: - Designing cloud-based solutions aligned with business requirements, collaborating with application teams for cloud service deployment - Providing expert guidance on Cloud design decisions, standards, and operational practices - Engaging in the Cloud Center of Excellence to establish and enforce best practices in cloud platform engineering, operations, application development, and governance - Selecting and implementing new cloud services and tools to progress the cloud roadmap - Maintaining blueprints and reference implementations of cloud products - Collaborating with Information Security teams to incorporate secure app patterns into Cloud platforms - Offering guidance on cloud platforms to teams dealing with high application complexity, escalating risks and issues when necessary - Facilitating discussions across key stakeholders to address challenges Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - 10+ years of expertise in leading Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure - Proficiency in delivering large-scale distributed enterprise platforms focusing on performance, scale, security, reliability, and cost optimization - Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with technologies like Terraform - Familiarity with on-premises Private Cloud and Public Cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS - Proficiency in native CSP orchestration stacks and container-native technologies like Kubernetes - Experience with cloud-native logging, monitoring, and operations tools such as Datadog and Prometheus - Expertise in areas like Cloud IAM, network and security design, cloud-native Kubernetes services, and configuration management and automation tools This role is at the Individual Contributor level with work shift timings from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.,
