Intro:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge and extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting standards, such as IFRS, US GAAP, FRS, or other internationally recognized GAAP frameworks. They should demonstrate proficiency in end-to-end client interaction and management, ensuring effective communication and tailored solutions to meet client needs. Additionally, the candidate must be skilled in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. They should also have expertise in preparing and reviewing management accounts to support internal decision-making processes. Experience in the consolidation of financial statements is essential, enabling the integration of complex financial data across multiple entities. Ideally, the candidate should have knowledge of XBRL preparation, facilitating efficient and standardized financial reporting.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Preparation and/ or review of books of accounts
- Reviewing and preparation of annual statutory financial reports as well as monthly and quarterly financial report for clients
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to relevant stakeholders.
- Management of Bank accounts including preparation and review of payment documents
- Preparing management accounts
- Assistance with financial audit and internal control
- VAT registration and administration
- Reviewing and keeping control of the timing of various client deliverables according to the operating memorandum/SLA
- Working closely with finance and legal colleagues as well as with external parties such as accountants, law firms and tax advisors
- Reviewing, handling client requests on payments
- Proactively handling various client queries in a timely and professional manner
- Coaching, teaching, guiding junior team members
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need
- 3-year degree in Commerce/ Accounting and a Qualified CA
- Minimum 05 years of relevant domain/ functional work experience, with direct client facing being desirable
- Hands-on experience on preparing and reviewing full set of accounts
- Possess a strong knowledge/ experience of book-keeping and accounting standards ((IFRS or US GAAP or FRS or any international GAAP)(desirable))
- Preparation/ review of financial statements
- Preparation review of management accounts
- Consolidation of financial statements
- Have ideally knowledge on XBRL preparation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) with attention to detail
- Evidence of consistently striving for improvement in process working practice
- Highly organized and with excellent personal time management
- Excel / MS Office is a required skill.
