Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead and manage the structural and infrastructure design of our ongoing and upcoming projects. The role requires deep technical knowledge in civil and structural engineering, coordination with cross-functional teams, and adherence to relevant codes and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Lead the civil and structural design for infrastructure and industrial projects including RCC and steel structures. Perform calculations for load, stress, and stability, and design structural members using relevant IS codes / Eurocode / ACI / BS standards. Prepare and review civil design drawings (GA, RCC detailing, foundation layouts, drainage plans, etc.). Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical design teams for interdisciplinary alignment. Guide and review work of engineers and drafters including on site team Evaluate soil reports, site topography, and geotechnical data to finalize foundation types and earthworks. Work with software such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, and MS Project for design and documentation. Interface with clients, vendors, and contractors to discuss project needs and resolve technical issues. Support tendering, estimation, and proposal teams with technical inputs and BOQs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction regulations. Prepare and present design reports, risk assessments, and design justifications to internal teams or authorities.
