Senior Buyer

As a candidate for the position, your responsibilities will include conducting technical and cost analysis of components, sending RFQs, preparing comparison statements, and conducting first stage negotiations. You will be responsible for preparing purchase orders in SAP after approvals, ensuring timely material receipt and reporting, and sending regular forecasts to vendors for material delivery. Additionally, you will be expected to generate VE ideas and drive their implementation, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and effectively manage vendors. Your role will also involve monitoring material follow-up for timely delivery, providing timely input to superiors regarding any non-performance at the vendor end or critical matters, as well as focusing on cost control, inventory management, and achieving savings. Knowledge of procurement for electrical components related to WTG and import procurement will be considered an added advantage. Key outcomes you will be responsible for delivering include ensuring timely material delivery at the plant, achieving cost reduction in line with management targets, and contributing to new vendor development. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics with 7-10 years of relevant experience.,
