Senior Builder.io Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Builder.io Developer with 5+ years of front-end development experience to join our dynamic digital product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Builder.io and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js, and will be responsible for building, optimizing, and managing engaging front-end experiences for headless CMS and eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, high-performance websites using Builder.io, React, and Next.js.
• Integrate Builder.io with headless CMS and eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or Kibo.
• Create responsive, accessible UI/UX with a focus on Core Web Vitals and site speed.
• Customize Builder.io components and workflows for brand alignment.
• Translate Figma or Adobe XD designs into live Builder.io pages.
• Manage Builder.io roles, permissions, and user workflows.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across browsers/devices.
• Maintain reusable code and documentation for Builder.io components.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience with JavaScript, React/Next.js, HTML, CSS/SCSS.
• Proven hands-on experience with Builder.io.
• Integration experience with headless CMS or eCommerce platforms.
• Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs and dynamic content workflows.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, lazy loading, image optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with headless CMS platforms like Contentful, Sanity, or Strapi.
• Familiarity with headless commerce and SEO in headless environments.
• Builder.io Certification (preferred).
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows for front-end deployment.
