Job Description

Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper US Accounting

Location: Bangalore

Work from Office during night shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper with strong expertise in US bookkeeping practices. The ideal candidate will be an independent contributor with moderate knowledge of US GAAP, and hands-on experience working with US-based firms.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities for US clients.
Create and submit invoices using QuickBooks (Online/Desktop).
Schedule payments via ACH and Bill.com.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with US accounting standards.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency:

QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) – Expert level.
Bill.com – Proficient in payment scheduling and processing.
Moderate Understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

Qualifications:

Education: B.Com + CA (Inter/Final) or CMA or MBA in Finance.
Experience: 8–10 years of hands-on experience in US bookkeeping.
Prior experience working with US-based firms is a must.
