Senior Biomedical Engineer

As a Senior Biomedical Engineer at Cyrix Health Care, your role involves ensuring the accurate mapping and addition of new medical equipment while maintaining a 100% accuracy rate in the equipment database. Your responsibilities will include: - Attending to all types of medical equipment service calls promptly and raising purchase requests for necessary spare parts. - Providing technical support to the field team via phone or video conferencing as needed, always ensuring assistance. - Taking responsibility for attending and assisting with breakdown calls escalated from junior biomedical engineers and biomedical engineers. - Performing installations and preventive maintenance tasks as required. - Submitting reports and maintaining comprehensive service records for documentation purposes. - Updating service activities in the designated service application both individually and as a team effort. - Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships with hospitals, authorities, and various other clients. - Ensuring timely escalation through proper channels within the specified turnaround time. - Coordinating and tracking team activities to ensure efficient operations. - Providing technical guidance and training to engineers and healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Receiving and arranging spares and tools from local markets, division stock, central stock, and original equipment manufacturers as needed. - Maintaining an inventory of tools and spares to promptly attend to the majority of breakdown calls. - Validating spare parts and other resource needs identified by the team and optimizing costs where possible. The ideal candidate for this role should have 4-8 years of experience and a B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.
