Senior Billing Executive / Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Invoicing

• Generate and manage customer invoices (domestic & export) based on dispatch and sales orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing in compliance with GST and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with dispatch/logistics and sales departments for timely invoicing and documentation.
• Manage credit/debit notes, sales returns, and any adjustments as required.
  

Accounting & Reconciliation

• Record and reconcile sales transactions in the accounting system (Tally/ERP).
• Handle accounts receivable, follow up on payments, and prepare ageing reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts periodically and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements related to sales and billing.
• Generate reports for internal audits, statutory audits, and management as needed.
• Maintain and archive billing documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
  

ERP & Documentation

• Work on ERP systems (Tally ERP, SAP, etc.) for billing and accounting functions.
• Maintain accurate billing records, tax documents, and support documentation.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of billing processes and GST compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Tally ERP / SAP / any accounting software.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical billing documentation (challans, e-way bills, export documentation, etc.).
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Good communication and coordination skills (especially with internal teams and customers).
• Ability to manage timelines and multitask under pressure.
  

Preferred Industry Background

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing
• FMCG or chemical manufacturing (with relevant billing exposure)
