Senior Billing Executive

Job Summary

The Senior Billing Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment processing, and effective resolution of billing discrepancies. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and clients to maintain accurate financial records and support smooth logistics operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely invoices for clients using approved billing systems and software.
  
• Process client payments and perform regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy.
  
• Monitor the complete billing cycle to ensure invoices are raised, shared, and closed within defined timelines.
  
• Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies, issues, and client disputes promptly.
  
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to obtain necessary billing inputs and resolve exceptions.
  
• Communicate professionally with clients to clarify billing details, collect missing information, and address queries.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of billing processes, invoicing, and accounts reconciliation.
  
• Experience with billing or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  
• High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
  
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  
• Good understanding of logistics, freight, or supply chain billing (preferred).
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• 25 years of experience in billing or finance operations, preferably within logistics or supply chain industries.
  
• Exposure to GST, taxation, or statutory billing requirements is an advantage.
