Senior Backend Engineer

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and optimizing Django-based APIs and services. You will define and enforce backend best practices, coding standards, and security protocols to ensure the smooth functioning of the systems. Your role will involve driving performance improvements in high-load environments and collaborating with product and engineering leadership to make technical decisions. To excel in this role, you must possess 4 to 7 years of backend development experience in Python and Django/Django Rest Framework. A deep understanding of relational databases, query optimization, and scaling is essential. Hands-on experience with system design, caching, rate limiting, and error handling will be crucial for your success. Strong experience in fintech and Software Development ecosystems is mandatory to thrive in this position. Additionally, familiarity with asynchronous task queues such as Celery and RabbitMQ, as well as knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, will be considered good-to-have skills. Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms will also be beneficial in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a B.Tech/ M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
