Senior Backend Engineer- Infrastructure And Reliability

The Work

• Design and build robust, reliable backend infrastructure
• Manage cloud deployments (AWS - EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Set up containerized applications, connect services, manage networking
• Implement logging, alerts, monitoring (Sentry, Cloudwatch, etc.)
• Build testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Prepare for SOC2 compliance
• Reduce our fear of things failing as we scale to enterprise and on-prem
  

Who Fits

• 4+ years backend experience, ideally in production systems at scale
• Strong with AWS infrastructure
• Experience with Python backend (FastAPI/Django/Flask)
• Comfortable with Docker, microservices, queue-based architectures
• Production mindset - thinks about failure modes, monitoring, reliability, cost
• Bonus: Experience with on-premise deployments, security compliance (SOC2), or AI/ML infrastructure
