Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Aries, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling the backend infrastructure that supports our trading platforms and developer products. Your responsibilities will include: - Architecting and implementing backend services using Go. - Designing APIs, data models, and distributed systems for reliable scalability. - Ensuring performance, resilience, and fault tolerance in production environments. - Collaborating with product, frontend, and growth teams to deliver features from concept to launch. - Contributing to the overall systems architecture in a modern cloud-native environment. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong proficiency in Go (Golang). - Experience in designing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs. - Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and messaging systems. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes). - Track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code. - Ability to contribute to systems architecture and lead backend engineering discussions. Nice-to-have qualifications include an interest in trading, fintech, or financial infrastructure, experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems, and exposure to open-source contributions or impactful side projects.
