Senior Backend Developer

Role Overview: As a skilled Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. You will work on data modeling and query optimization using Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Additionally, you will build and integrate microservices and internal APIs, participate in Agile development, and collaborate with QA, frontend, and DevOps teams for feature delivery and deployment. Your role will also involve monitoring, debugging, and optimizing application performance in production. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. - Work on data modeling and query optimization using Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. - Build and integrate microservices and internal APIs. - Participate in Agile development including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. - Collaborate with QA, frontend, and DevOps teams for feature delivery and deployment. - Monitor, debug, and optimize application performance in production. Qualification Required: - Strong experience in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate. - Familiarity with Spring Data, Spring Security, and REST API design. - Hands-on Experience With At Least One Of: Oracle (including PL/SQL, stored procedures, indexing), PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, performance tuning), MongoDB (NoSQL schema design, aggregation framework). - Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab for version control and branching workflows. - CI/CD Pipeline Setup Using Tools Like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD. - Proficient in Docker (creating and managing containers). - Basic understanding of Kubernetes (deployments, services, config maps). - Exposure To Monitoring And Logging Tools Like ELK Stack, Prometheus + Grafana, Splunk (nice to have). - Awareness or hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure (especially EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).
