About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js / MERN Stack Developer with deep expertise in backend development. You will be responsible for building high-performance services using NestJS and Express.js, designing scalable APIs, and ensuring smooth application architecture. If you have a strong command over MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and AWS DevOps, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, NestJS, and Express.js.
• API & Microservices: Build robust RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side logic.
• Database Management: Manage MongoDB (indexing, aggregation) and PostgreSQL (relational modeling, migrations) with a focus on optimization.
• System Architecture: Implement caching strategies (Redis) and ensure the high performance and reliability of backend systems.
• DevOps & Deployment: Containerize applications using Docker and deploy services on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
• CI/CD: Set up automated pipelines for testing, builds, and deployment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with React developers, mobile teams, and QA to support full-stack architecture decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in NestJS, Express.js, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Cloud & DevOps: Proven experience with AWS services, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Security: Deep understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).
• Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of TypeScript (preferred for NestJS).
• Experience with GraphQL (Apollo Server) and Redis caching.
• Familiarity with message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Exposure to Serverless architecture (AWS Lambda) or Kubernetes.
