Senior Automation Engineer

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer at RWS Technology Services India, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts of our web and mobile applications. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our complex and high-impact web platforms. As part of your key responsibilities, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with software developers, product owners, and quality assurance teams to understand project requirements and testing objectives. Additionally, you will create comprehensive test plans, execute automated test scripts, analyze results, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework. Moreover, you will mentor and guide junior members of the testing team. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5-6 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer in a senior role, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong programming skills in Javascript and proficiency with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and TestNG are required. Experience with version control systems, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines is also essential. A solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, will be advantageous. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, are considered nice-to-have skills for this role.
