Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Proficiency in PLC & Motion programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) 2. Familiarity with robotics programming and integration 3. Knowledge of SCADA system configuration and operation 4. Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet, Profibus) 5. Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems System Design and Implementation: Develop automation concepts and designs for manufacturing processes, including control logic, hardware selection, and system architecture. Configure and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to control machinery and production lines. Integrate SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for data monitoring and visualization. Design and implement robotic systems within production lines. Installation and Commissioning: Install and wire automation components on-site. Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve system errors during installation and operation. Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for automated systems, including software updates and hardware repairs. Monitor system performance and identify potential issues. Respond to system malfunctions and implement corrective actions. Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timeline, and budget. Develop project documentation including design specifications, technical drawings, and user manuals. Manage project deliverables and ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
