Senior Auditor - Audit Planning, Governance & Quality Control

Role Overview: You will be responsible for reviewing internal audit reports to ensure consistency and uniformity across various audit areas. Under the supervision of the Team Leader and guidance of the Group Head, you will undertake activities to maintain the effectiveness of the Internal Audit function. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct quality checks (QCs) on audit reports to ensure consistency and uniformity across different audit areas - Propose and conduct ad hoc reviews to achieve consistency and coverage of audits, highlighting areas for improvement - Assist the team leader in preparing notes for the Board and Audit committee presentations - Support the team leader in creating the quarterly audit calendar for the Group Head - Assist in gathering and reviewing data for external auditors and RBI inspectors - Participate in reviewing manpower budgeting and risk categorization of branches/units - Assist in reviewing the Audit Plan, Policy Manual, and other process documents within the department - Undertake other assignments and reviews as directed by the Team Leader and Group Head - Maintain coordination within the department and with other departments as required - Stay updated on regulatory guidelines and developments relevant to the role Qualification Required: - Graduation or Post-graduation in any field - Strong communication and drafting skills - Analytical aptitude - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Ability to plan and execute audit plans - Deadline-oriented with the ability to meet timelines - Knowledge of related areas of operations and RBI guidelines on banking operations is preferred.,
