Senior Auditor - Audit Planning, Governance & Quality Control

Role Overview: You will be responsible for reviewing internal audit reports to ensure consistency and alignment across different audit areas. Working under the supervision of the Team Leader and guidance of the Group Head, you will undertake various activities to maintain the effectiveness of the Internal Audit function. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct quality checks (QCs) on audit reports to achieve consistency across various audit areas - Propose and conduct ad hoc reviews to ensure alignment and coverage of audits, identifying areas for improvement - Assist the team leader in preparing notes for the Board and Audit committee, including presentations - Support the team leader in developing the quarterly audit calendar for the Group Head - Assist in gathering and reviewing data for external auditors and RBI inspectors - Assist in reviewing manpower budgeting and risk categorization of branches/units - Participate in the review of the Audit Plan, Policy Manual, and other process documents - Undertake assigned assignments and reviews as directed by the Team Leader and Group Head - Maintain coordination within the department and with other departments as required - Stay updated on regulatory guidelines and developments relevant to the role Qualifications Required: - Graduation or Post Graduation in any field - Proficient in effective communication and drafting skills - Strong analytical abilities - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint - Ability to plan and execute audit plans - Capable of meeting deadlines - Knowledge of related areas of operations and RBI guidelines on banking operations is preferred,
