Senior Associate Legal(Litigation)

As a Senior Associate Legal(Litigation), your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Litigation Management

• Handle and support civil litigation matters across:
• Bombay High Court (Original & Appellate Side)
• City Civil Court
• Small Causes Court
• RERA Authorities and Appellate Tribunal
• Attend court hearings, filings, mentionings, and follow-ups on a regular basis.
• Coordinate with external advocates and counsels for hearings, filings, and case strategy.
• Track litigation matters, hearing dates, and court orders.

2. Legal Drafting & Documentation

• Assist in reviewing, and drafting if required, notices, replies, pleadings, affidavits, applications, replies, rejoinders, notices, and written submissions.
• Prepare and collate documentation for filings and hearings.
• Maintain updated case files, trackers, and document repositories.

3. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

• Support arbitration matters including documentation, coordination with counsels, and hearings.
• Assist in pre-litigation assessments and dispute resolution initiatives.

4. Internal Coordination

• Liaise with internal stakeholders for fact collection and documentation.
• Ensure timely compliance with court directions and legal timelines.
• Provide on-ground legal support for urgent matters.

Preferred candidate profile:

• LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognised university.
• 34 years of post-qualification experience in civil litigation.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in:

1. Bombay High Court
2. City Civil Court
3. Small Causes Court
4. RERA litigation

• Prior experience with law firms is mandatory.
• Exposure to arbitration matters preferred.
• Strong procedural and litigation knowledge.
• Excellent follow-up and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and dependable.
• Willingness to be field-intensive with frequent court visits.
