Senior Associate (Legal) - Contractual Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts including franchisee agreements, services,

consulting, marketing, licensing, non-disclosure and other commercial and related

agreements;

2. Advise the Company on various issues including statutes, government regulations and

contractual obligations;

3. Periodically preparing and updating the dashboard summary of the ongoing Contracts

and status update and the way forward;

4. Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organisational and

management databases and securely maintained;

5. Monitor critical contract obligations to assess and consider for modification, close-out,

extension, or renewals;

6. Work with external legal counsels, advisers on a need basis;

7. Build organisation capability in the contract management team. This includes managing

contract life cycle- drafting, negotiating, and executing with relevant stakeholders;

8. Conduct legal workshops and make presentations to provide guidance and training on

ensuring legal compliance to various business functions;

9. Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with customers and vendors.

Required skills, education and experience:

1. LLB/ LLM degree from recognised university in India.

2. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment, with an experience of 2-3 years, preferably in

a law firm.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable command over

English language.

4. Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.

5. Ability to manage and communicate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
