Job Description

This position is based in Madhya Pradesh, India with travel. Imago GG India Pvt. Ltd is looking for a Senior Associate to support the design and implementation of the training & capacity building plan under the project. The scaling of women-led agro-processing enterprise model through the community institutions of NRLM is currently being implemented across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. The Capacity Building Senior Associate will directly work with and report to the Program Manager (Capacity Building). The role will include supporting the Manager (Capacity Building) on the execution of the capacity building plan. This involves organizing documentation, ensuring a smooth flow of information, and engaging internal and external experts. Construction of high-quality communication materials, including idea illustration, technical reports, and presentation materials, is also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, the associate will support IMAGO's knowledge production and may author/co-author products. Other administrative tasks will be assigned as required. Specific to the project and role, the Senior Associate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the monthly/quarterly training & capacity building goals & plan for key stakeholders. This includes SHG women, Master trainers, Cluster level federation, IMAGO's internal staff, and State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) district/block teams. The role involves close handholding, support, and guidance for capacity building of the agro-processing center teams, designing and testing training modules, facilitating workshops, liaising with training partners, and more. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm and keen interest in learning & development, facilitation, co-creation, people-centered design, and community engagement. An advanced degree/postgraduate degree in relevant fields, 3-4 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in learning & development, capacity building, stakeholder management, and training design, is required. Experience in communicating with multiple stakeholders, fluency in Hindi, and willingness to travel to project locations regularly are essential.
