Job Description

As a Senior Associate - Housekeeping, you play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the property. Your responsibilities include overseeing and executing daily housekeeping duties to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met throughout the facility. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service delivery. - Perform various cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and polishing designated areas like rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and corridors. - Ensure all areas of the property are cleaned according to company standards and guest satisfaction levels. - Replenish supplies like soap, toilet paper, and towels, and promptly report any maintenance issues. - Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. - Assist in training and mentoring junior housekeeping staff on procedures, standards, and safety protocols. - Support the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager in overseeing daily operations. - Monitor the work of junior staff to ensure alignment with company standards and quality expectations. - Address guest requests, questions, and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with room cleanliness and service. - Report guest feedback and collaborate with the team to resolve any issues. - Ensure proper storage and use of cleaning materials and supplies. - Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to management. - Assist in organizing housekeeping storage areas. - Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals. - Maintain hazard-free work areas and comply with safety regulations. - Assist with special cleaning projects and perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned. - High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality are a plus. - 2-3 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role. - Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting. - Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and effective communication. - Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety protocols. - Ability to work independently and in a team, with physical capability for cleaning tasks. - Experience with housekeeping management software or point-of-sale systems. - First Aid or CPR certification is a plus. - Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices and green certifications. In this role, you will be required to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. You may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and dust, and should be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.,
