Job Summary:

Architectural Designer – CAD

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce

  architectural CAD drawings

  for oil & gas facilities, including onshore plants, offshore platforms, control rooms, accommodation modules, and industrial buildings.
• Interpret engineering specifications, design briefs, and project requirements into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with

  structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical teams

  to ensure design integration.
• Ensure designs comply with

  international codes, standards, and client specifications

  .
• Review and update existing drawings as per site modifications and project changes.
• Conduct

  layout planning

  , space optimization, and ergonomic assessments for industrial environments.
• Prepare

  bill of materials (BOM)

  and assist in cost estimation.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure

  quality control

  and adherence to CAD drafting standards.
• Participate in

  design reviews, client meetings, and site visits

  when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Architecture or Civil Engineering.

• 10+ years

  of experience in architectural design for oil & gas projects.
• Expert in

  AutoCAD

  , with knowledge of 3D design tools (Revit, MicroStation, or similar preferred).
• Strong understanding of

  oil & gas facility layouts, safety norms, and industrial architecture

  .
• Familiarity with

  international codes and standards

  (API, ISO, NFPA, etc.).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and lead junior designers/drafters.

Preferred:

• Experience with

  offshore living quarters design

  .
• Knowledge of

  BIM workflows

  and digital project delivery.
