Overview: A Data Base Administrator is responsible
for installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing databases within anorganization. They ensure that databases operate efficiently, remain secure,and are available whenever needed by users and applications. The role combinestechnical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of datamanagement principles.

Work
Location: Hyderabad Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s
degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field

Experience: 5+ years in database administration, with a focus on PostgreSQL in
enterprise environment

Key Responsibilities :

Manage
PostgreSQL for staging, including schema design, indexing, and replication.

Optimize
database performance for write-heavy workloads.

Set
up backups and disaster recovery for PostgreSQL.

Linux
Installation, Database Installation, Clustering/Load Balancing/Failover of alltools and DB.

Required
Skills:

Expertise in PostgreSQL administration (e.g., replication, tuning,
backups).

Knowledge of database security (e.g., RBAC, encryption).

Experience with JDBC catalogs for Iceberg metadata.

Familiarity with RAID configurations for storage redundancy.
