Job Summary
This position provides input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to spearhead the development of a robust web application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Angular 16, .NET Core 8, ASP.NET, SQL, DB2, Web API, and consuming web services. Familiarity with Agile methodology, Azure DevOps, TFS, and IIS is essential. This role also involves leading a team of developers to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:

To develop and maintain the web applications using Angular framework and .NET Core.

Design and implement APIs using ASP.NET and Web API.

Manage and optimize databases using SQL and DB2.

Integrate and consume web services.

Guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology.

Utilize Azure DevOps and TFS for project management and version control.

Deploy and manage applications on IIS.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Ensure the application meets performance, security, and scalability requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in web application development using Angular 16, .NET Core 8, and ASP.NET.

Strong knowledge of SQL and DB2 databases.

Experience with Web API and consuming web services.

Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools like Azure DevOps and TFS.

Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on IIS.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
