Job Description

Job Title: Senior Analyst Product / Business Analyst

Years of Experience: 8 12 Years

Location: India, Mumbai, Andheri, Saki Naka (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst Product will be responsible for leading the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The role demands a strong understanding of banking and financial services, including retail banking, investment banking, and financial management. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business, including the development of draft wireframes for new systems or features.

Key Responsibilities:

Research
: Conduct product and user research
Analyse
: Collect and analyse data related to customer needs, market trends, and business objectives
Track
: Track usage patterns and assess product performance
Identify
: Identify trends and make inferences about customers preferences, needs, and behaviours
Report
: Report insights to stakeholders
Recommend
: Make informed recommendations for product managers and other guardians of the product
Requirement Gathering and Analysis
: Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand their needs. Analyse and decompose complex requirements and streamline the processes.
Documentation
: Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards, including requirement specifications, process flows. Create functional specifications and system design specifications.
Workflow Creation and Optimization
: Design and implement effective banking and financial workflows, optimizing existing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Wireframe Drafting
: Create draft wireframes for new systems, features, or enhancements, ensuring they meet user and business requirements.
Stakeholder Management
: Act as a liaison between the business units, technology teams, and support teams. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Project Management Support
: Assist in the planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Regulatory Compliance
: Ensure that all banking and financial services are compliant with the relevant laws and regulations in India. Stay updated with the latest regulatory changes and advise on compliance matters.
Demonstrate product POC with potential customers and capture feedbacks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience
: Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis or a related field within the banking and finance domain.
Education
: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills
: Proficiency in data analysis software, MS Office, and business process modelling tools. Experience in creating wireframes and flowcharts.
Communication Skills
: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical Skills
: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Project Management
: Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
Regulatory Knowledge
: Deep understanding of the banking and financial regulations in India.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Business Analysis
Experience with Agile methodologies and digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of fintech innovations and digital banking trends.
